Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist 1 to join our dynamic team. As an IT Specialist 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to our internal teams. Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees in the production area/ end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve IT-related problems, escalating issues to higher-level support when necessary.

3. System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, updates, and system configurations to ensure optimal performance.

4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT support activities, solutions, and documentation for future reference.

5. User Training: Assist in the training of end-users on new systems, applications, and technologies.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting in an IT environment.

3. Familiarity with desktop operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
